Hi! I'm Jacob Montgomery. I've been a musician since I was 8 years old, and when I got to high school I found theater to be a perfect place for me to expand my musical knowledge into a new field. I value work that pushes the boundaries of what we consider to be art, and that explores the relationship between the real and the surreal.

I consider myself both a sound designer and a production sound technician, and I think that my knowledge in each discipline helps me in the other. As a designer, I use my knowledge of the equipment to help me push what I'm able to do in the space, and as a technician, my experience designing allows me to help serve the designer in achieving their goals.

When not doing sound in the theater, I enjoy listening to music and creating some of my own. I also enjoy reading, going on outdoor adventures, and cooking.
